This is a very nice song. I consider Boyce Avenue´s version way better than the original one (by Fun featuring Janelle Monáe). 
This activity can work as a warmer. Original lyrics included.

This is a very nice and moving song about how a man feels when he´s fighting in a war. Its theme can also generate further discussions in class. I hope you like the WS.

Reading comprehension + verb tense exercise : THE TAMAR PROJECT

I've been working with the Action Series, from Learning Factory Publishing House. Thiese books aims at working with pre teenagers and young teens.
On the fifth book of the series , there's an activity concerning  the Brazilian TAMAR PROJECT.
I guess my students don't know much about it, so I decided to create an activity which is supposed to introduce the topic to them. Besides, I'm going to review verb tenses while they read the text, as well as wirk woth reading comprehesion.

In this activity, students are supposed to fill in the blanks with the correct verb tense and adjectives, as well as "correct the hip hop segment" of the song.
